M8 Step Sequencer

A  step sequencer has now been developed – call the M8 which complements the WaveG synthesizer system. It has 8 potentiometers for note input and 5 pushbuttons that allow a variety of different operating modes to be implemented.

Prototype No 4

Prototype 4 worked successfully. There was a problem with the Jack connectors which were connected the opposite way round, so needed a slight modification to make them work. It was found that the switches needed changing to a more suitable type, and that a new interrupt signal needed to be routed to the central processor.

Prototype No 2

Prototype number 2 – all hand made and soldered on breadboard. Lots of wires so the circuit layout gets complicated and unreliable, pretty quick!
